Just because you’re stuck at home, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy local desserts to tickle your tastebuds. These three hidden gems will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.

The Manhattan Beach Creamery gives customers a delightful experience for all. Don’t be fooled by it’s small size, once you take a step inside, the sight and smell of all the sweets is overwhelming. Their most famous creation is a Cream’wich. A Cream’wich is like an ice cream sandwich. However, instead of  a soft chocolate wafer they use  homemade chocolate chip cookies. Instead of generic ice cream, the creamery has a wide variety of creamy ice creams of their own invention.

“Creamy vanilla ice cream in between perfectly baked chocolate chip cookies. Really enjoyed that,” said Shemeeka Greaves, a Google reviewer. These treats are available for you at 1120 Manhattan Avenue, Manhattan Beach, California.

Another place on our list is Polar Playground. They are most known for creating realistic cotton candy characters.

“Amazing artistry of cotton candy,” said Alan Whiteman, a Google reviewer.

The characters they sculpt are not only creative but have a fruity flavor. Also, they have ice cream and shakes.

“The shakes are unbelievable,”  said Nina T., a Yelp reviewer. The location is a cute place and the staff is sweet, as well. Unfortunately, during Corona there is only a take-out option, but that won’t stop most people from enjoying the sweet treats they offer at 16891 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach.

The final dessert place is a restaurant called the B Sweet Dessert Bar. The B Sweet Dessert Bar was created by a Filipino woman named Chef Barb Batiste. Originally a dessert truck, the B Sweet Dessert Bar has expanded to a restaurant with all kinds of fun desserts including their specialty deep fried oreos or ube churros.

In their restaurant they have a very wide variety of cake and ice cream, as well. Even though they moved to a restaurant, the B Sweet Dessert Bar can still cater events and they have eight different  dessert trucks. If you don’t want to go to their trucks you can always go to their restaurant, located at 2005 Sawtelle Blvd, Los Angeles.

Take a small part of your day, to go out and enjoy a Cream’wich, a cotton candy  character or a fruit loop cake. Trust us, you will enjoy it.
